When we first thought of the idea for the café space and these sessions, we wanted to create a space that would invite and engage every parent…as we understand that it can be daunting for new parents meeting others, and also invite and engage the local community, as we know that there are many people who don’t have opportunity or space to connect with other people on a daily basis.
These drop in sessions are super important to us at The Old Police Station…we wanted to create a lovely, inviting café space where EVERYONE is welcome and can come together…children and parents can connect with each other, other parents and the local community, as well as having the nicest coffee and homemade cake made by our super baker Zaneta.
These sessions really are for everyone!!!
If you are a Mum on your own and need a bit of time to yourself,
if youre a Dad who would like to have nice coffee after the school drop off chaos,
If youre a grandparent with or without your grandchildren and you would like to connect with other people,
If you live locally, young or old and would love to have a nice coffee in a lovely space and be with others
If you are visiting or passing through the village and want to stop off and enjoy our space
Or if youd like to take a coffee and cake with you on your way to work to make your day a little bit brighter
